We've witnessed another year of
environmental rollbacks under a lawless administration.
Any progress made over the last 50 years is under threat.
It will take years of diligence to repair the damage already done.
It's sad it only takes months to destroy a lifetime of progress
for environmental justice. What happened?

"On his first day back in office, trump issued a flurry of executive orders to unleash fossil fuel extraction, remove the U.S. from the Paris climate agreement, and pause all wind energy permitting. The Department of Energy then cancelled over $7.5 billion in federal funding for 223 clean energy projects. Over 7,000 workers were let go from the U.S. Forest Service and the Bureau of Land Management, while the Fish and Wildlife Service lost 1,817 staff. The administration is now moving to close three-quarters of Forest Service research stations, shuttering decades of long-term science on soil, air, water, wildfire, and invasive species. The Bureau of Land Management conducted massive oil and gas lease sales across New Mexico, Wyoming, and Colorado in late 2025, while the administration reinstated leasing in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. This is not a series of policy disagreements. It is a systematic dismantling of the institutions and protections that stand between public land and private profit."
So. With these Climate Deniers back in office,
we are the ones being sent "Back to the Stone Age",
as far as thoughtful environmental regulation goes.
Or the birth of the Industrial Age, before anyone understood
what pollution was, or does to our health.
Anything for a quick buck.
I'm really tired of this crap. It's not America First,
it's America Last.
