In a galaxy far-far away,
and a time that doesn't seem so long ago,
Star Wars was a ground breaking concept.
George Lucas launched a galactic juggernaut
that blew up the boundries of what a blockbuster
film franchise could become. The original stories,
a trilogy, (for starters), the pioneering special effects,
and the creation of Lucas' Industrial Light & Magic
that became the gold standard for cutting edge
computer graphic design that have enhanced our
movie experience ever since.
And the Merch! My god, the Merch!

and I'm a rather passive fan. It's inescapible!
Since the original three episodes,
(the best in my opinion),
additional episodes and spin-off's have ensued.
Then Disney bought the franchise.
And, as they say, the rest is history!
