A lot of garage bands became storage unit bands in the 1980's. If you played loud & didn't have cool neighbors, here was a solution. We spent usually 3 nights a week in this 9'x25' space, for 7 years & endured through the heat, sometimes in the 90's,(no A/C) & the cold. (had an electric heater though). Had a lot of good musicians come through,
& looking back, was one of the best times of my life!

I chose this song because it was sort of long & I thought it wouldn't distract from the slide show. It's off my Lost Tapes:
Vol. I, which I compiled recently as I went through my old tapes for this website. Over the Crest of a Wave is on
Archive V, which I'll release later in 2016. It wasn't written during this time period though. So,if you want something
with a little more kick, & relevance to The Studio, I've added a few rockers below.

This version of No Matter is from my Lost Tapes: Vol.3 collection & is as close to a band Impact ever became, during these recordings. Once again, just a boom box in the middle of the room,so sorry about the quality. Features Jeff Adams on Lead Guitar, Tom Pinkham on Bass,Robert Husk on Drums & me on Rhythm.(Instrumental)
Starts off a little rough but gets better & ends o.k.(Instrumental)
